1-2 YEARS OF SERVICE:
New and/or rehires will begin accruing paid vacation at the rate of 5 paid vacation days per year beginning on their first day of employment. The accrual rate will be approximately one hour of paid vacation for every 50 hours worked. Accrual during the calendar year caps at 40 hours of paid vacation.
3-9 YEARS OF SERVICE:
Beginning on an employees’ third anniversary, the accrual rate increases to 10 days per year. The accrual rate will be approximately one hour of paid vacation for every 25 hours worked. Accrual during the calendar year caps at 80 hours of paid vacation.
10 OR MORE YEARS OF SERVICE:
Beginning on an employees’ tenth anniversary, the accrual rate increases to 15 days per year. The accrual rate will be approximately one hour of paid vacation for every 15 hours worked. Accrual during the calendar year caps at 120 hours of paid vacation.
PROMOTION TO FOREPERSON:
Employees who are promoted to a leadership position of Foreman, immediately upon promotion, will accrue vacation at the rate of 2 weeks per year.
